MHA Releases Summary Of The 2023 Session Of The Missouri General Assembly
CHP Conducts Missouri Physician Workforce Survey

The Missouri General Assembly adjourned its 2023 legislative session May 12. MHA prepared an issue brief summarizing legislation of interest to hospitals, health systems and health care providers, including bills both passed and defeated.
Gov. Parson will act on appropriations bills before the Saturday, July 1, start of state fiscal year 2024. Substantive bills must be acted upon by Friday, July 14.

The University of Missouri Center for Health Policy is conducting a brief survey to gather valuable information about the characteristics of Missouri’s physician workforce. Survey responses are critical in identifying and addressing the challenges physicians face — and ensuring Missouri has enough physicians to meet the needs of our communities.
The survey takes less than five minutes to complete and is being emailed to a random sample of Missouri physicians. We encourage you to participate if you receive an invitation. For technical assistance or questions, email hcworkforce@missouri.edu.
