The U.S. House of Representatives advanced a continuing resolution that would fund the government through Tuesday, Sept. 30 — the end of the fiscal year.
The bill contains all the health extenders that MHA has been advocating for throughout the past month, including extensions to the Medicare telehealth and hospital-at-home flexibilities, enhanced Medicare low-volume payment adjustments, and extension to the Medicare dependent hospital program. The House bill also prevents Medicaid disproportionate share funding reductions through FY 2025.
MHA released an issue brief with additional information. The U.S. Senate will need to pass the resolution to avoid a government shutdown by this Saturday, March 15.
