Hospital compliance with local, state and federal regulations is foundational to being authorized to provide care and ensuring that care results in quality outcomes. Compliance with regulations surrounding controlled substances can be especially complex, and hospitals have recently reported what seems like an increase in audit activity. The Missouri Hospital Association invites members to a complimentary virtual event for an update by the Department of Health and Senior Services’ Bureau of Narcotics & Dangerous Drugs on investigative and audit activity.
