HHS Region 7 is holding its Virtual Office Hours at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6. This event provides a networking platform to engage with HHS leadership and subject matter experts to get answers to program and resource questions; request technical assistance and training; and share critical surveillance about emergent local, state and regional health care issues/trends. Information on the following critical issues facing Missouri hospitals are possible topics for discussion.

• boarding of patients in acute inpatient psychiatric units and hospitals
• status of Missouri’s IMD waiver request
• status of the proposed DEA rules surrounding the Ryan Haight Act
• exclusion of hospital employees from the NHSC loan forgiveness and repayment programs
