A study by the Georgetown McCourt School of Public Policy finds wide variation in the performance of states with respect to the disenrollment of children as a result of the unwinding of COVID-19 Public Health Emergency continuous eligibility. The child Medicaid caseload in Missouri has fallen 8%, which is comparable to the average of all states (10% decrease). As of March 31, Missouri had 125,600 more children enrolled in Medicaid than in February 2020.
