ATTEND: MU Extension is hosting a kickoff event from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, May 18, for its Career Accelerator, a new hub for industry-driven bootcamps, certifications and customized workforce trainings. The event will offer a networking reception and industry resource fair followed by a short program and roundtable on workforce training needs. Online registration is available.

PARTICIPATE:

  • National Nurses Week takes place Saturday, May 6, through Friday, May 12. This year, AONL is recognizing the week with the theme, “Beyond Gratitude,” offering several tools and materials for hospital use. ANA also published several resources, including weekly focus areas, a promotional toolkit and events, to celebrate National Nurses Month.
  • National Hospital Week takes places Sunday, May 7, through Saturday, May 13. Using the theme, “We are Healthcare,” AHA highlights the innovative ways hospitals and health care workers are supporting and connected to their communities. Social media and engagement tools are available for hospital use.
