The Maternal-Child Learning and Action Network, Missouri’s Perinatal Quality Collaborative, is hosting a virtual event, “Information to Action Convening: Infant Health Equity in the NICU/Well-Baby Nursery,” from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19.
This convening offers a platform to discuss health equity gaps and opportunities within the NICU/WBN setting of care. Participants will hear from experts, including patients and family members, on the background and significance of the issue and the impact on health care, experience and outcomes. A panel of patients and family members will share their experiences, providing significant insight into actions and difference-makers. The convening will close with a panel discussing solutions, innovative ideas and current actions serving to mitigate health disparities. Please register in advance.
