DHSS Pauses Shipments Of PPE From State Warehouse

DHSS will pause PPE and COVID-19 antigen test kit shipments on Tuesday, Jan. 31, for as much as 30 days to complete inventory and transition warehouse operations to a new platform. Orders for PPE and antigen test kits will need to be placed by Friday, Jan. 27, to ensure shipment and needs are met through Wednesday, March 1. During the pause, orders will not be processed or shipped.

Once shipping resumes March 1, PPE and antigen test kits will be shipped daily upon approval and order processing. Effective March 1, the following order forms should be utilized.

Staff Spotlight

Kevin Lang

Congratulations to Kevin Lang, Vice President of Accounting, on a decade of service to MHA!

Kevin is responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of MHA and its affiliated companies, including budget planning, preparation of financial reports, tax reporting, and the development and implementation of accounting best practices. He also oversees procurement, plant operations and the Background Check Advantage program.

During his tenure at MHA, Kevin is most proud of playing a strong role in advancing technology within the organization, particularly in the finance and procurement areas.

“The staff, particularly staff who have worked long-term at MHA, with their wisdom and focus on maintaining the strong culture of excellence, makes MHA a great place to work.”

Outside of work, Kevin loves to fish (alone and with co-workers) and spends most weekends on the river with his family and friends. He also enjoys watersports and taking annual trips to the gulf coast beaches with his family.
