The New Normal — How Teams and Zoom Have Changed the World

Audience

administrative support staff in all health-related organizations

Overview

This virtual event will discuss the benefits and detractors of the major virtual communication and collaboration platforms of Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Skype for Business and WebEx. Also, while virtual platforms allow us to have unprecedented flexibility in our business practices, unintended pitfalls are emerging in using these technologies, such as reducing our ability to "walk away and reset." This session will explore ways to effectively "reset yourself" while constantly staying connected.

Objectives

At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:

  • identify the differences and benefits of the virtual platforms
  • what virtual platform to use and when to use it
  • learn ways to effectively "reset yourself" while staying constantly connected
