Overview

The ability to maximize employee performance is a crucial competency of leadership.  Yet, we often see a gap between the level of performance we expect and the level of performance we receive.  Why don’t employees do what we want them to do? You’ll be surprised to learn whose performance we’re talking about!

Objectives

Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:

- discuss the difference between performance discrepancies and deficiencies
- examine the causes of performance discrepancies in the workplace
- identify business scenarios related to performance issues

Speaker

Mike Freel, Ph.D., is the health care program director at Bellevue University’s College of Arts and Sciences. Dr. Freel has a professional health care background and experience in corporate organization and employee development. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Education Advisory Group for the Nebraska Hospital Association. He earned his doctorate in human resources development with a leadership and organizational change focus from the University of Nebraska.

For cancellations received in writing before the established deadline date, the registrant will receive a full refund — minus a $50* processing fee per registrant. After the deadline date, no refunds will be granted. Registrants not in attendance will be responsible for the full registration fee. Substitutions are encouraged. We reserve the right to cancel this program because of insufficient registration.
