Rural Health Clinics: 2022 Updates — Virtual Event

Upon approval, virtual instructional materials and access information will be sent to the email address indicated on the registration form. The registration fee is for one individual attendee and one connection. Each additional connection will be charged a separate registration fee.

For cancellations received in writing before the established deadline date, the registrant will receive a full refund — minus a $50* processing fee per registrant. After the deadline date, no refunds will be granted. Registrants not in attendance will be responsible for the full registration fee. Substitutions are encouraged. We reserve the right to cancel this program because of insufficient registration.

Mark Schultz received his Bachelor of Science in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University in 2000. He worked as a registered nurse for a large regional hospital system from 2001 to 2006 before joining the hospital’s administrative team. He began his management career as the manager of the wound care and hyperbaric center, and then advanced to the director of physician practices. His duties as a director primarily focused on physician offices and the hospitalist service.

Schultz has more than 22 years of experience in health care. The combination of Schultz’s clinical and administrative background furthers our mission of providing quality consulting and management services to the medical community. After nearly 20 years in health care, he has become a trusted advisor in the RHC business.

Glen Beussink spent 20 years prior in the private sector developing business distribution models. Beussink has developed clinics through the midwest and southeast. He is a trusted advisor to some of the largest hospital organizations and smallest independent rural health clinics. His desire of knowledge leads him to hours of reading in the Federal Register. He has presented and attended numerous conferences on the subject of RHCs and dedicated his career to clinic conversion and regulation compliance. Beussink is a member of the NARHC Public Policy Committee.

Lori Williams has more than 25 years of working in the medical field with experience in rural primary care and health care management. She specializes in rural health compliance and provides years of experience in practice management. Before joining Midwest Health Care, Williams spent 20 years in health care management and 10 years as the primary administrator for a hospital system in Missouri.
