MHA Management Services Corporation

MHA Management Services Corporation is a wholly owned for-profit subsidiary of MHA. MSC develops and provides high-quality, market-driven programs and services to hospitals in Missouri and nationwide, on a self-sustaining basis, to enhance hospitals’ effectiveness.

Quality Works

Quality Works® is a performance measurement system software and patient safety data collection tool from the MHA Management Services Corporation that helps hospitals collect, report and analyze clinical quality data. Hospitals also use the Quality Works® core measure module to collect and transmit data to the Joint Commission.

Background Check Advantage

A member of the National Association of Professional Background Screeners, Background Check Advantage offers high-quality background checks with an extensive list of search types.

MHA Center for Education

The MHA Center for Education is a not-for-profit corporation that is affiliated with MHA. Formed in 1965, MCE coordinates hospital educational programming to meet the educational requirements of hospital staff and assists in developing educational and scholarship programs designed for health care workforce expansion. MCE also supports research and other projects promoting improvements in community health and individual health. Various associations of health care employee groups organized under MCE promote networking and education for their respective groups.

HIDI and HIDI Solutions

The Hospital Industry Data Institute provides timely access to data and information services for hospitals to support their strategic planning, advocacy and health policy initiatives. With more than 30 years of experience in data collection, HIDI’s staff continues to build on its expertise in reporting services. This not-for-profit organization founded by the Missouri Hospital Association continues to serve hospitals’ increasing needs for high-quality data resources through its data collection, analysis and dissemination to more than 1,400 hospitals nationwide.

HIDI Analytic Advantage®, a secure Web-based platform from the Hospital Industry Data Institute, provides analytic offerings for hospital staff from a single point of entry. HIDI Analytic Advantage® presents reports in categories for participating hospitals’ specific reporting needs.

Through partnerships with state associations, HIDI continues to leverage its expertise in data collection and reporting services as staff shares its knowledge and best practices with colleagues. This arrangement allows HIDI to work as your silent partner as it designs and implements customized reports to meet your organization’s unique needs.

HealthCurve Analytics

HealthCurve Analytics is a joint venture of the Illinois and Missouri Hospital Associations established to help hospitals and affiliates unlock the potential of expanded health care data to achieve the Triple Aim - better health, better care, and lower cost.

Healthcare Services Group

Through its companies, Healthcare Services Group provides essential insurance coverage for health care providers, including professional and general liability, property and casualty, workers compensation and employee benefits.

The Health Alliance of MidAmerica LLC

Created in 1999, The Health Alliance of MidAmerica is the first corporate affiliation between two state hospital associations, MHA and the Kansas Hospital Association. The Alliance was formed to create synergy and member value, enhance association effectiveness and leverage association resources.


APS is a health care services organization owned by MHA and the Kansas Hospital Association. APS partners with members to cut costs, expand purchasing power, enhance revenues and streamline operations. Through the APS Staffing Program, MHA members have access to temporary and permanent workforce solutions for both clinical and nonclinical positions.

Midwest Transplant Network

Midwest Transplant Network is a federally-certified, not-for-profit Organ Procurement Organization located in Kansas City, Mo., that works with donors, donor families and hospitals, serving Kansas and western Missouri communities.

MidAmerica Transplant Services

MidAmerica Transplant Services is a federally-certified, not-for-profit Organ Procurement Organization located in St. Louis that works with donors, donor families and hospitals, serving eastern Missouri, southern Illinois, and northeast Arkansas.
