CMS Releases CY 2025 Medicare Beneficiary Deductibles, Coinsurance And Premium Costs
Missouri PQC Releases Doula Guidance Resource

CMS released the CY 2025 out-of-pocket costs for Medicare beneficiaries who enroll in original Medicare. CMS issued three regulations including inpatient hospital deductible and extended care services coinsurance cost-sharing expectations, Medicare Part A premium for uninsured enrollees, and Medicare Part B premiums for CY 2025. MHA published an issue brief with additional details.

The Missouri Perinatal Quality Collaborative recently published a new guidance resource, Integrating Doula Care Into Clinical Care Settings: A Guidance Resource for Health Care Organizations and Clinicians. Co-authored by eight doulas from Missouri, the guidance gives background on the roles of doulas and illustrates how health care facilities can work with doulas to improve maternal and infant health outcomes, address gaps in the health care workforce, and enhance the birthing experience.
