JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Kevin McRoberts, FACHE, CEO of Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Mo., will serve as the 2025 president of MHA’s Central District Council. His one-year term began Jan. 1.

As District Council President, McRoberts’ responsibilities include presiding over council meetings and guiding discussions on association policies and activities. One of six MHA district council presidents, he will direct input from council members on national, state and regional health care policies to the MHA Board of Trustees.

“We are excited to have Kevin’s leadership as president of the Central District Council,” said Jon D. Doolittle, MHA President and CEO. “He is a respected executive with a track record of strategic leadership. His insights will help shape policy that improves the lives and health of central Missourians and statewide.”

McRoberts has more than 30 years of health care experience, including 24 years at Lake Regional. He was named Lake Regional CEO in 2022 and previously served as executive vice president and COO. Before joining Lake Regional in 2000, McRoberts served as CEO for Missouri Advantage in Jefferson City, Mo., a provider-sponsored HMO, and as executive director with Conemaugh Health Systems in Johnstown, Pa. McRoberts has served as a member of the Central District Council since 2022 and served as president-elect in 2024.

McRoberts has a master’s degree in health administration from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo., and a bachelor’s degree in management from Missouri State University in Springfield, Mo. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

The Missouri Hospital Association is a not-for-profit association in Jefferson City that represents 137 Missouri hospitals. In addition to representation and advocacy on behalf of its membership, the association offers continuing education programs on current health care topics and seeks to educate the public about health care issues.
