Overview

Welcome your TJC surveyors with confidence. This extensive program serves as an annual update to TJC survey processes, accreditation requirements, emerging trends and upcoming changes for hospitals and critical access hospitals. Enhanced discussion regarding the most challenging and urgent accreditation issues will be presented by subject matter experts covering leading practices. 

Whether you are new to accreditation or a seasoned professional, this annual TJC update is an opportunity to learn and improve on strategies for success in accreditation. Highlights include the following.

  • review of survey process changes and their impact on what you can expect for your on-site TJC accreditation survey
  • learn about the new infection prevention chapter requirements for TJC accreditation 

Review the 2024 changes to medication compounding requirements from USP 797 and what you can expect from a TJC survey. A focus on persistent challenges and leading practices in safe medication management and administration will be provided. 

Focus on the evolution of health care equity and strategies to impact quality, safety and optimal outcomes for everyone.
