The Missouri Hospital Association is excited to announce the release of an inaugural special report detailing the impressive efforts underway throughout the state of Missouri to impact care delivery and health outcomes of mothers and infants.

Throughout Missouri, state and local government agencies, professional associations, health systems, health care providers, community-based organizations, community members, and Missouri-based funders are coming together to address maternal and infant morbidity and mortality. While, as a state, Missouri has not yet achieved significant reductions in morbidity and mortality for mothers and infants, there is much synergy and momentum underway that certainly has elevated the urgency to act. Missouri has taken a unique stance in this fight by making every effort to leverage, coordinate and spread knowledge and interventions among state and regional stakeholders to truly create a network of action.
