TJC Creates Health Care Equity Resource Center
Complimentary MAT Waiver Training Available

TJC created a Health Care Equity Resource Center to assist accredited organizations in progressing toward health care equity and to meet new TJC requirements that are effective Jan. 1, 2023. Available resources include links to toolkits, templates and guides; synopses of approaches used by organizations; and evidence-based interventions. An on-demand webinar describes the new and revised requirements to reduce health care disparities, as well as the rationale.

Opioid SOR 2.0, in partnership with the Missouri Behavioral Health Council, is providing a complimentary 8-hour MAT Waiver Course to assist physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants who wish to apply for a waiver to prescribe buprenorphine for the treatment of opioid use disorders. The first four hours of the course will be held live through Zoom at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, and the last four hours will be individual online work.
