DMH Makes Payment For Boarded Developmental Disability Patients
TJC Releases Manual Addendum

DMH reports that it will pay $1.9 million to 14 hospitals that submitted reimbursement requests for developmental disability clients who were boarded in hospitals between July 1, 2021, and April 30, 2022. This is the first year DMH was funded in the state budget to make these payments, and the program again was funded at $2 million for SFY 2023.

The Specifications Manual for Joint Commission National Quality Measures, addendum version 2022B1, now is available on the TJC website. Applicable with July 1, 2022, encounters, the addendum revises the algorithm for the STK-VOL-1 measure.
