NRHA Releases COVID-19 Vaccine Toolkit
DMH Opens CAMS Training Registration

The National Rural Health Association released a COVID-19 vaccine toolkit that includes resources and talking points focused on promoting vaccines in rural communities. The library includes conversation starters and public service announcements that were developed to help rural employers, small business owners and public sector employers share vaccine facts and improve access. Hospitals can co-brand and distribute the resources to their stakeholders.

The Missouri Department of Mental Health is offering a complimentary Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality training with a limited number of spots available. CAMS is an evidence-based, suicide-specific, therapeutic clinical framework for effectively working with suicidal risk. Participants will learn how to conduct CAMS sessions using the suicide status form, as well as various other evidence-based practices for reducing suicidal ideation. This training allows individuals to work at their own pace by allowing as much as 60 days to finish the training after registration.
There are 25 openings for this training, and the date of trainings is dependent on when all participants have registered. To register, contact the DMH suicide prevention specialist, Casey Muckler.
