CMS released proposed 2023 payment policy changes for Medicare Advantage and Part D drug programs. Proposals include a request for information about potential changes to the MA and Part D Star ratings, and requesting comments about a quality measure related to assessing how often plans are screening for common health-related social needs. MHA published an issue brief with additional details. The comment period for the proposal ends on Friday, March 4.

MHA updated the acute care, CAH and specialty services quality reporting guides to reflect requirements effective with Jan. 1, 2022, dates of service. The guides support hospitals with reporting quality measures through various reporting programs. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development opened registration for the Continuum of Care Program collaborative for organizations hoping to assist individuals and families who are homeless by providing supportive care services, transitional housing and permanent housing. Links to guidance and information about registration are available online. Each local collaboration must register using the HUD Exchange e-snaps system. The application deadline is Thursday, March 3.
