MO HealthNet Begins Reimbursing Pediatric Vaccine Counseling
Moberly Regional Medical Center Names CEO

Enrolled MO HealthNet providers who are allowed to administer vaccines may begin billing for pediatric vaccine counseling for dates of service on and after Dec. 2, 2021. The Medicaid-eligible child need not be present, and the parent or caretaker being counseled does not need to be covered by Medicaid. Reimbursement is allowed even if the child ultimately is not vaccinated. Vaccine counseling may be delivered via telehealth.

Moberly Regional Medical Center named Michael D. Hall as the CEO, effective July 25. Hall has more than 10 years of hospital operation experience, serving in hospitals in South Carolina, Texas and Virgina. He replaces Brent Parsons who served as the hospital CEO since January 2020.
