MHA prepared an analysis illustrating the financial effect of the proposed CY 2023 Medicare OPPS rule. The analysis, which is available online for authorized users of HIDI Advantage®, includes a summary for the nation, Missouri and individual hospitals. Hospitals in Missouri are projected to receive an estimated payment increase of 2.82% for services provided under the OPPS. Although footnoted, the analysis does not reflect the effects of the 2% sequestration. Hospitals have until Tuesday, Sept. 13, to review their hospital-specific data and submit comments regarding the proposed rule.
