DHSS Issues Emergency Rule On Monkeypox Reporting

DHSS issued an emergency rule on reporting of the monkeypox virus. The local health authority or the department must be notified within one day of first knowledge, suspicion of disease or findings. The rule is effective immediately.
ATTEND: DHSS is hosting the 2nd Annual Missouri Harm Reduction Conference on Wednesday, Sept. 21, and Thursday, Sept. 22. The complimentary event will focus on strategies to promote the health and safety of people who use drugs, while ensuring compassion and dignity in service delivery.
