HIDI Releases First Quarter FFY 2022 Inpatient, Outpatient Databases
This summary is intended to provide generalized situational awareness and regional COVID-19 surveillance in Missouri. More granular county-level data from the CDC should be used when making individual decisions about masking and other public health mitigation measures.

Hospitals can view their confidential spring 2022 Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade beginning Monday, April 18. Leapfrog then will update the Hospital Safety Grade website on Tuesday, May 10.
The embargo period is offered as a courtesy for hospitals receiving a grade this spring. Hospitals should print a copy of their measure scores and letter grade from fall 2021, as this data will not be publicly available after Monday, May 9.

The first quarter FFY 2022 inpatient and outpatient databases, including HIDI-reporting hospitals in Missouri, Illinois and Kansas City, Kan., are available for download to subscribers of the Premier Data Package on HIDI Analytic Advantage. The databases consist of a patient-level limited dataset, including all HIDI-reported discharges and visits to hospitals. Files are delivered as both text files and ready-to-query Microsoft Access database files. The files are located in “Strategic Planning/Premier Data” and are organized in the following categories.
