  • The Missouri Primary Care Association is hosting an upcoming event, “Recruitment for Retention: Hot Topics, Evolving Roles & Strategies,” May 4-5 in Jefferson City, Mo. Space is limited.
  • The National Council for Mental Wellbeing is launching a Social Justice Leadership Academy Learning Series to provide members of the health care workforce with tools to lead and sustain efforts to eliminate health inequities. The complimentary, 12-month virtual series begins Monday, April 25.

READ: study in the Journal of the American Medical Association finds that teen overdose death rates have increased, despite a decrease in teen drug use rates. According to the findings, the overdose mortality rate among U.S. adolescents ages 14 to 18 rose by 94% between 2019 and 2020.
