JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Tina L. Gillespie, CEO of Harrison County Community Hospital in Bethany, Mo., was elected to a three-year term on the Missouri Hospital Association’s Board of Trustees. Her term began Jan. 1.

MHA’s board provides governance for the association and assists in the development of policy on behalf of the state’s 142 member hospitals.

“We are pleased to have someone with Tina’s experience assume this important leadership role,” said Jon D. Doolittle, MHA President and CEO.

Gillespie serves as the CEO of the hospital, which includes a hospital district that encompasses two medical clinics: HCCH Medical Clinic and North Harrison Medical Clinic. She has more than 18 years of health care leadership experience, including 13 years as a CFO, one year as the HCCH Chief of Operations and four years as CEO.

Gillespie holds a master’s degree in health care management. She serves on the Healthcare Services Group board and is a member of the Show-Me Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. She is secretary for the Bethany Rotary Club.

The Missouri Hospital Association is a not-for-profit association in Jefferson City that represents 142 Missouri hospitals. In addition to representation and advocacy on behalf of its membership, the association offers continuing education programs on current health care topics and seeks to educate the public about health care issues.
