Sarah Willson joined MHA in 2016, as the Vice President of Clinical and Regulatory Affairs. Willson provides a broad range of clinical and regulatory support to MHA, its related organizations and boards. Her duties include legislative and regulatory review, advocacy, and survey and licensure support. Sarah also serves as liaison to a variety of professional membership.
Willson has a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Missouri Sinclair School of Nursing. She has a master’s degree in Business Administration Healthcare from William Woods University. Willson’s background includes varied areas of clinical practice, healthcare leadership and operational design. She is a member of the Missouri Organization of Nurse Leaders, American Organization of Nurse Leaders, American Nurses Association, Missouri Nurses Association, and American College of Healthcare Executives.
Meghan Travis Henderson joined MHA in 2017 as associate general counsel. Henderson provides a full range of legal support to MHA, its related organizations and boards. Her duties include health care compliance, corporate advice and legislative advocacy. Henderson also serves as liaison to a variety of legal professional groups involved in health care law and policy.
Henderson received her B.A. from Truman State University and her J.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia where she served on the Journal of Dispute Resolution. She was previously a legislative analyst with the House Research Division of the Missouri House of Representatives where she provided legal analysis to various committees and advised on issues relating to health care policy, mental health policy, health insurance, veterans issues, public assistance programs, public health and medical malpractice.
