Overview

Nursing is considered the backbone of care for patients served in hospital settings. The wages and benefits paid to nurses are used in complex calculations that determine hospital payment rates. MONL is hosting this session about how nursing expenses are used to determine payment rates while sharing insights into developing labor budgets for nursing services. Other topics will include considerations when advocating for a nursing fee schedule and how to determine appropriate staffing levels.
