This speaker series will reflect on COVID-19 and its impact on Missouri hospitals, while looking forward to help prepare for what may yet come. We are excited to feature MHA-member hospital leaders and partners who will share lessons they have learned, best practices and emerging practices. Planned topics will include visitor policies, regulatory waivers, workforce, financial impacts and many others.
Each session will begin at 2 p.m. and will be offered every Wednesday starting on Wednesday, Aug. 12. Sessions will be added as topics and speakers are finalized.
This series is being offered complimentary to MHA-member hospitals thanks to a generous contribution from the MHA Management Services Corporation. Nonmember — $49 per session.

Incident management is critical to ensuring an effective health care response to any event impacting hospital operations. Management of COVID-19 required unique and flexible structures to coordinate hospital-wide, community-aligned actions throughout a lengthy and constantly evolving response. Join this session to hear emergency management leadership from Mercy Health discuss their approach and execution of effective hospital incident management. Discussion will include how they developed actionable plans for their hospitals, within their communities and across their multi-state ministry.
