Juanita Blackmon, a dedicated professional with a passion for community outreach and health care accessibility, serves as the community outreach trainer at MTM, where she works directly with Missouri-based medical facilities. Since joining MTM in August 2019 initially as a contact center representative, Blackmon has developed a deep understanding of the challenges faced by Medicaid members in accessing essential health care services. Her journey at MTM began with front-line experience, where she interacted directly with members, gaining invaluable insights into their needs and concerns. Eager to make a broader impact, Blackmon transitioned to the training team in 2022, where she played a pivotal role in educating new hires about MTM's processes and procedures, ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
In 2023, Blackmon moved into her current role as a community outreach trainer, where she collaborates with medical facilities across Missouri. Her responsibilities include educating facilities about nonemergency medical transportation services, assisting facility representatives in efficiently scheduling trips for patients, and facilitating improved health care access for vulnerable communities. Blackmon's tireless efforts and expertise continue to make a positive impact on health care accessibility in Missouri.
