Governance Megatrends: What Is The Impact On Your Board?

Audience

CEOs, CFOs, legal counsel and hospital board members

The following program content was provided by the speaker.

Overview

Hospital and health system boards are facing many challenges as the world transitions from a multiyear pandemic to an endemic situation. The health care field is experiencing instability and near-constant elements of change: innovation in medicine and service delivery, new competitors, payer upheaval, renewed scrutiny on social determinants of health, and more.

This virtual event will focus on the trends that are of greatest relevance in the 2022 boardroom. Special attention will be drawn to the impact on governance, including a discussion of how to best prioritize board time on the most significant issues. Participants will leave this session with a road map to identify and address governance megatrends.

Objectives

Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:

    • examine the trends that will have the most impact in hospital and health system board rooms in 2022 and beyond
    • describe the governance implications and associated board-level decision points of each megatrend
    • develop an action plan that will enable your board to be proactive and anticipatory in a constantly changing environment
