This year’s challenges have been a true test for hospitals and health systems requiring flexibility, determination and mission focus. Throughout 2020, we met these challenges — as individuals, organizations and as a community of hospitals — head on.
Just as hospitals have been adapting to the new environment, so has MHA. The 98th Annual Convention will be a virtual event. Early next week, we’ll unveil the convention agenda and open registration.
The theme of this year’s convention, Above & Beyond, will share Missouri hospitals’ story by recognizing how hospitals were able to rise above 2020’s challenges, and how we expect to move beyond them in the months and years ahead.
This year’s convention format, while condensed, will be focused. We will celebrate the heroes throughout our hospitals and health systems that have provided lifesaving care and an abundance of compassion throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. We will learn from hospital leaders about how they reacted to the crisis as they share their organization’s lessons learned. We’ll also look ahead — with nationally recognized experts on health care, politics and policy — to understand what’s coming next.
This year has demanded resilience. We hope you will join us in this effort to deliver world-class knowledge in an entirely new way.
Stay tuned. Our convention platform — with all the pertinent details — will launch next week.
