Hospitals serving as TCD centers for trauma, stroke and STEMI can participate in these forums to provide feedback on system issues, network, and give input to MHA on issues related to the emergency transport and care of those with a trauma, stroke or STEMI diagnosis. Any hospital member interested in TCD is welcome to attend. TCD is regulated by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. Additional resources are available on the DHSS website.
In 2018, the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services established a Statewide TCD Taskforce to evaluate and make recommendations for the future of the Time Critical Diagnosis System. The group has continued to meet to discuss TCD.
In 2019, the department engaged Havron, a consultant, to provide recommendations for TCD. Below are the final recommendations from Havron.
