Part V Overview

Interdisciplinary care rounds are moving front and center as a key strategy for coordinating care, managing length of stay, and improving patient and family satisfaction. This webinar will identify the key stakeholders needed for effective interdisciplinary bedside rounds. Additionally, the best practice rounding processes, including scripting and time management, will be reviewed.


Objectives

  • differentiate between interdisciplinary rounds and other modalities, such as huddles and teaching rounds
  • choose key members for the rounding team
  • identify the role of each team member through scripting and other tools
  • describe a walking rounds checklist
