Board Of Nursing Reports LPN Licensure Renewal Deadline Approaching

Staff Contact: Sarah Willson

The Missouri State Board of Nursing reports that 9,896 of the 14,263 licensed practical nurses with licenses set to expire May 31 have renewed. The board is encouraging hospitals to remind LPNs to renew. LPNs that did not receive the renewal reminder can contact the board at nursing@pr.mo.gov to request their unique renewal PIN. Hospitals can use www.nursys.com, which is updated nightly with licensure data from all boards of nursing, to verify licenses. For questions about licensure during COVID-19, contact Lori Scheidt, Executive Director of the board at lori-scheidt@pr.mo.gov.
