Hospital-specific reports for the fiscal year 2018 Hospital Readmissions Reduction Program are available on the QualityNet Secure Portal. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services encourages hospitals to review their reports, including discharge-level data, and submit any questions during the review and corrections period that ends Friday, June 30.

Wisconsin Physicians Services Government Health Administrators is offering a teleconference at 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 25, for those new to working with Medicare. The teleconference will focus on WPS contacts for different situations, and the following topics. Registration is required.

Randy Wertz, CEO of Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare in Clinton, will be retiring, effective June 30. He announced his retirement in October 2016. Craig Thompson, Chief Operating Officer, will succeed Wertz as CEO. A list of CEO changes is available online.
