Staff Contact: Andrew Wheeler

MHA has released an analysis illustrating the estimated financial effect of the federal fiscal year 2018 updates to the Medicare skilled nursing facility PPS. In aggregate, Missouri SNF’s are projected to receive an increase of 1 percent. The analysis does not include effects caused by high-cost outliers, payment for managed care patients or the 2 percent Medicare sequestration. Facility-specific results will vary based on resource utilization groups. Comments on the proposed rule are due to CMS by Monday, June 26.
