The Senate Appropriations Committee began marking up the budget bills for the fiscal year 2017 budget this morning. The first bill discussed was HB 2011, which includes funding for the MO HealthNet Division and the state's Medicaid program. We expect the committee to continue marking up the budget bills the remainder of this week.

The U.S. Department of Health & Human Services has produced a report on the projected effects of Medicaid expansion on behavioral health. The document includes state-specific estimates of the incidence of behavioral health disorders, as well as the projected cost and outcome implications of expanding Medicaid eligibility.
