The general election is tomorrow. If you haven’t already cast an absentee ballot, head to the polls Tuesday, Nov. 5, to vote and make your voice heard. Voting is an important way for you to shape the future of this country, Missouri and your community, especially when it comes to health care.
Also, remember that if someone finds themselves hospitalized around election time and unable to get to the polls, they can still cast a ballot, according to Missouri law.
Here are some friendly reminders before you vote.
- Know the candidates and issues. You can find your sample ballot online.
- Polls are open from 6 a.m. until 7 p.m. tomorrow. If you’re in line by 7 p.m., you still have the right to vote. Find your polling place.
- Make sure to bring an acceptable form of identification when you vote.
- If you have limited mobility or physical disabilities, ask your local election authority about accessible voting.
- Encourage your friends, family and neighbors to vote. If they need a ride to the polls, offer to drive them.
Every vote matters. A healthier Missouri starts with you.
