MHA Schedules CIO Forum

The Missouri Hospital Association’s Chief Information Officer Forum will meet immediately following the MHA Convention opening general session at 10:45 a.m., Thursday, November 5. The CIO Forum will address several topics, including: Health IT Provisions in ARRA — A CMS Update; Leveraging Vendor Relationships in Missouri; MHA’s Role in HIT Leadership in Missouri; and Accessing Your Data Using HIDI Online Reporting. A CIO networking event will follow the Forum. Additional information will be available in October.

NUBC Releases v4.00 Manual

The National Uniform Billing Committee released v4.00 of the Official UB-04 Data Specifications Manual 2010 on July 1. A subscription to a printable, electronic version of the manual is available from the NUBC.
