Have there been educational programs you wanted to attend but couldn't because of scheduling conflicts or travel restraints? We understand your time is valuable, and the MHA Center for Education is pleased to offer Webinars for hospital staff.
A Webinar is a live, interactive presentation using the Internet and telephone conference lines. Participants download handout materials from the Internet and view the presenter's program on the computer screen as they listen to the presentation over the telephone connection. Participants can ask questions over the phone or the Internet during the presentations, which typically last one to two hours.
Most Webinars usually cost $295; however, there are some exceptions. Webinars are very cost-effective solutions because hospitals may sign several people to participate in a Webinar, and they only pay one fee for the entire group.
Hospital staff can participate in Webinars and educational programs from careLearning, an Internet-based education management solution. The sole purpose of careLearning is to develop and deliver a range of just-in-time training and education for health care providers and provide the ability to manage and track employee, physician and nonemployee records.

The MHA Center for Education also hosts Webinars on various health topics. Individuals interested in the following Webinars should contact MHA staff before the registration deadline. Once registrations are received, MHA staff will e-mail course access information to registrants before the program.
