Medicaid Managed Care Rate Awards for Central, Eastern and Western Regions

Rate Awards

The Missouri Office of Administration recently renewed Medicaid managed care plus (MC+) contracts for the central, eastern and western regions of the state. The contract period is July 1, 2007, through June 30, 2008, with an additional one-year renewable option.

HealthCare USA, Mercy CarePlus and Missouri Care Health Plan received contracts for the central region. These health plans will provide managed care services to more than 48,000 enrollees in 18 counties — Audrain, Boone, Callaway, Camden, Chariton, Cole, Cooper, Gasconade, Howard, Miller, Moniteau, Monroe, Montgomery, Morgan, Osage, Pettis, Randolph and Saline.

In the eastern region, Harmony Health Plan of Missouri, HealthCare USA and Mercy CarePlus will provide health care to more than 187,000 individuals in Franklin, Jefferson, Lincoln, St. Charles, St. Francois, Ste. Genevieve, St. Louis, Warren and Washington counties and St. Louis City.

Blue Advantage Plus, Children’s Mercy Family Health Partners, HealthCare USA and Mercy CarePlus received contracts for the western region. Managed care services will be provided to more than 109,000 enrollees in Cass, Clay, Henry, Jackson, Johnson, LaFayette, Platte, Ray and St. Clair counties.
