Auxiliary/Auxilian of the Year
Auxilians are at the heart and soul of Missouri's
hospitals. These awards recognize the special contributions of hospital
auxiliaries and one individual auxilian to honor the time commitment,
dedication and contributions of Missouri's auxilian volunteers to
the health care industry. In Missouri, more than 21,000 auxilians
and volunteers donate more than two million hours of service each
year to help their hospitals better serve patients and the community.
Recipients of this award are chosen by auxilians in a neighboring
state. The awards are sponsored by the Missouri Association of Hospital
Auxiliaries.

- University Hospitals and Clinics in Columbia, Mo., for an auxiliary with fewer than 60 members
