The MHA Center for Education is a not-for-profit foundation that
is affiliated with the Missouri Hospital Association. The MHA Center
for Education was formed in 1965 to receive grants and coordinate
hospital educational programming. In addition to sponsoring educational
programs and workshops, the MHA Center for Education provides staff
support for personal membership groups statewide.
The Hospital Industry Data Institute is a
comprehensive, hospital-founded organization that collects, analyzes
and disseminates data about hospitals. HIDI reports include inpatient
and outpatient statistics, utilization rates, financial and management
indicators, and combinations of data provided as special requests.
MHA Management Services Corporation is a wholly
owned subsidiary of MHA. MSC develops and provides high-quality,
market-driven programs and services to hospitals in Missouri, on
a self-sustaining basis, to enhance hospitals' effectiveness.
The St. Louis Metropolitan Hospital Council,
or SLMHC, was established in January 1995 as a regional office of
MHA to serve member hospitals in the bistate metropolitan area of
St. Louis. Guided by member input, the primary goals of SLMHC are
local representation and advocacy for member hospitals, increased
public relations and media communication, and networking for joint
community projects.
